GLISTA Insurance Solutions was founded by Alexandra Glista-Harris with the goal of providing sound insurance advice to Professionals and their families. Having grown up in an insurance family, insurance was “in her blood”. After graduating with her teaching degree from the University of Western Ontario, Alexandra taught elementary and middle school while her husband attended the Ontario Veterinary College. Upon his graduation and entrance into the world of veterinary medicine, Alexandra saw a real need for young professionals to be better versed in the world of insurance and financial literacy. In 1999, Alexandra switched careers and has been “teaching” professionals about insurance ever since. The primary focus of her business is helping veterinarians, interns, residents and business owners create a financial safety net for themselves, their businesses and their families.
